Gregory DuMont joined the law firm of Land, Carroll & Blair, P.C. in March of 2019. Gregory is admitted to practice in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. District and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in those states.
Gregory is an experienced trial attorney and represents individuals and businesses involved in complex litigation involving construction disputes, landlord-tenant issues and real estate development. In addition, he also handles clients’ collections efforts and creditor-side representation in the surrounding bankruptcy courts as well as counseling clients on trademark matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Gregory represented institutional lenders, commercial and residential landlords on his own, associated at a highly respected real estate development law firm in the District of Columbia for over a decade and was a Trademark Examining Attorney for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
Gregory graduated from the George Washington University Law School in 1995 and the University at Buffalo (SUNY) in 1990. Currently a recovering triathlete, Gregory is a 2-time Ironman (IM Cozumel ‘12 & IM Maryland ‘15), who has also run in the Marine Corps Marathon several times; notwithstanding, he claims to hate running.
